Hull-House
Encyclopedia of Women's History - from Jone Johnson Lewis
Hull-House was a settlement house founded by Jane Addams and Ellen Gates Starr in 1889 in Chicago, Illinois.

  • Robert Morss Lovett
  • Gerard Swope

A small part of the buildings was preserved as a museum by the University of Illinois at Chicago when the University displaced many of the extensive buildings of Hull-House.

Hull House exists today as an institution, with locations around the city of Chicago.
